Have anybody used a Ricoh vintage Kr-30SP before?
My daughter is going to take photographer class this year, I look at a Ricoh Kr-30sp at around $75.00, any opinion on this model?

I have two KR-30SP bodies. The only issue that I have is that the metering is well off the mark on one of the bodies, and I have yet to figure out why. Other than that, I have not had a problem with them.
The Ricoh uses the Pentax K mount, and there is a pretty good range of Ricoh, Pentax, Tamron and other lenses that can be used with this camera.
This model was introduced over 20 years ago, so you might expect some to have mechanical problems, and it will pay to check that it is functioning properly.
The other issue with cameras of this age is decaying light seal material. The strips of black sponge eventually go soft and sticky, and need to be replaced. This is not complex to do, does not need special tools and is something that you could do yourself. Suppliers of replacement seal can be found on eBay or searching the internet. They normally supply instructions for your particular camera as well.
I think $US75 is the high end of the price range for this particular model. A quick search of recent sales on eBay shows prices below $US50 unless it is for a kit with other lenses, flash, etc.
