esp. if your working as a customer service, receptionist or something to do with phone while working.
for example one of your customer is harassing u, yelling at you, say bad words all of those crazy things!

You have to remember that you can't take everything personally. It's a job. Unfortunately, the people at the other end of the line want a punching bag and you're the one that they're going to use. A lot of the protocol for handling people over the phone who 'abuse' you is just extensive training that your workplace should be having you undergo. Like how to handle people with tact and skill. There's a seminar entitled just that that SkillPath Seminars offer. There's lots of different online tips that you can pick up. But to summarize, your workplace should be training you on how to handle different phone situations. As much as you'd like to harass them back, just take it all in stride. We're all human and our reaction is to fight back. But just realize that you're not at fault and they're just using you to unload on.
